Experience a full-day adventure from Marrakech into the High Atlas Mountains. Travel to Imlil, then trek over Tizi n’Tamatert and along the scenic balcony trail above the Imnane Valley, passing traditional Berber villages including Tachedirt and Tighourine before returning to Marrakech in the evening.

Tour Plan
Meet your driver at your riad or hotel in Marrakech and enjoy a scenic 1.5–2-hour drive south across the Haouz Plain and into the spectacular High Atlas Mountains. Upon arrival in Imlil, take a short tea break before meeting your mountain guide and beginning your trekking adventure.
Begin your trek from Imlil and follow a scenic mountain trail through orchards and traditional terraced fields toward Tamatert village. Enjoy beautiful early views over the Ait Mizane Valley and the surrounding High Atlas peaks as you gradually ascend.
Continue your ascent through fragrant pine and juniper forests toward Tizi n'Tamatert Pass, reaching approximately 2,270 meters. From the pass, enjoy spectacular panoramic views over the Imlil and Imnane valleys, with traditional Berber villages scattered across the mountain slopes.
Continue along the spectacular balcony trail overlooking the Imnane Valley. The path winds above traditional Berber villages, including Amghdoul, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks, valleys, and terraced landscapes as you make your way toward Tachedirt.
Arrive in Tachedirt, located at approximately 2,300–2,400 meters, and enjoy a delicious picnic or traditional homemade lunch at a local house or on a terrace overlooking the beautiful Imnane Valley.
Complete the scenic loop by crossing to the opposite side of the valley and following mountain trails through the traditional hamlets of Ouaneskra, Tamegguist, and Tighourine. Continue descending through the beautiful High Atlas landscape before returning to Imlil.
Meet your driver in Imlil and relax during the scenic drive back to Marrakech. Enjoy the beautiful High Atlas landscapes along the way before arriving at your accommodation in the early evening.
