2) Scope of Services
• Private guided treks only (no mixed/shared groups).
• Private transfers Marrakech ↔ Imlil (included when you book the trek as a standalone service).
• Accommodation per itinerary (guesthouse/hotel in Imlil; mountain refuge on route).
• Meals as listed in each package.
• Optional add-ons and extensions (Marrakech/Essaouira/Atlantic Coast/Sahara), quoted separately.
Exact inclusions appear on your product page and booking confirmation.
3) Pricing
• Prices are per person, based on duration, route, season, and private group size.
• Unless stated otherwise, prices include: private certified mountain guide, listed meals, accommodation as per
itinerary, mules/porters for luggage, and private transfers Marrakech ↔ Imlil (for standalone trek bookings).
• Prices exclude: personal mountain equipment (available for rental), travel insurance, alcoholic beverages,
tips, and optional experiences (spa, hot-air balloon, private photo/video, desert/city extensions).
• Currency & payment basis: quotes provided in EUR (available in GBP/USD/MAD on request). Bank/FX fees
are the client’s responsibility.
4) Availability & Private Departures
This trek runs year-round and can depart on any date, subject to availability. All departures are private for your
booking only. You may book the trek independently (including private transfers from Marrakech) or request a
full Morocco itinerary combining your trek with Marrakech, Essaouira, the Atlantic Coast, or the Sahara Desert
(custom quote).
5) Accommodation
• In Imlil: traditional guesthouse/hotel (twin/double where available; some properties have shared facilities).
Private room supplements apply and are subject to availability.
• On the mountain: Refuge du Toubkal (dorm-style; shared facilities). In peak periods, a similar refuge/annex
may be used.
• Refuge provides blankets; many guests still prefer a sleeping bag or liner.
6) Equipment & Rentals
Personal technical equipment is not included. You are responsible for season-appropriate clothing and
footwear.

Rental on request (limited stock): crampons, ice axe, gaiters (winter), trekking poles, sleeping bag/liner,
Indicative rental prices: €5–€20 per item/day depending on season/item (confirm exact rates when booking).
7) How to Book (Private Treks)
1) Choose your trek (2D/1N, 3D/2N, 4D/3N, etc.) and email us your preferred dates, duration, route, and
number of people.
2) We reply with a provisional private booking listing dates and total price for your party.
3) To confirm, pay a 20% deposit (EUR/GBP/USD via bank transfer; account details provided on invoice).
4) Balance is due no later than 7 days before arrival by bank transfer or card. For bookings made within 7 days
of the start date, the full amount is due at confirmation.
5) After deposit, you receive your confirmation/voucher, packing list, and meeting details (pick-up in Marrakech
by default; other cities on request with supplement).8) What’s Included / Not Included
Included (unless otherwise stated):
• Private, certified mountain guide (English/French).
• Private transfers Marrakech ↔ Imlil (for standalone trek bookings).
• Accommodation as per itinerary (Imlil guesthouse/hotel; mountain refuge).
• Meals during the trek (as listed in your chosen itinerary).
• Mules & muleteers for luggage.
• Drinking water during the trek.
Not included:
• Personal mountain equipment (rental available).
• Travel insurance (strongly recommended; mandatory in winter).
• Alcoholic beverages.
• Tips/gratuities.
• Optional add-ons and extensions (quoted separately).
9) Payments, Deposits & Cancellation Policy
Currency & Payment Methods. Quotes are provided in EUR, GBP, USD, or MAD. We accept credit/debit
card and bank transfer. Any bank/FX fees are the client’s responsibility.
Deposit to Confirm. A 20% deposit is required to secure your private trek. Deposits are non-transferable to
other parties or products.
Balance. The remaining balance is due no later than 7 days before arrival, payable by card or bank transfer.
For bookings made within 7 days of the start date, the full amount is due at confirmation.
Cancellations by the Client.
• ≥ 30 days before start: 100% of the deposit refunded.
• 29–15 days: 50% of the deposit refunded.
• ≤ 14 days: deposit non-refundable.
• No-show / late arrival: no refund.
Cancellations or Changes by GoToubkal. If we cancel or materially change your trek due to safety, weather,
or operational reasons, you may choose a new date or receive a full refund of amounts paid to GoToubkal
(external costs such as flights/visas/insurance are excluded).
Payment References & Invoices. Please include your booking reference on transfers. Invoices/receipts are
issued upon request.
Chargebacks. Unwarranted chargebacks may incur administrative fees. Please contact us first so we can
resolve any issue promptly.
10) Safety, Route Changes & Seasonality
Mountain travel is subject to weather, snow/ice, trail, rescue logistics, and refuge capacity. Your guide may
adjust routes and timing to maintain safety and service continuity. In winter/shoulder seasons, crampons/ice
axe, early alpine starts, and warmer layers may be required. Such operational adjustments are considered
normal and do not entitle to refunds.
11) Health, Fitness & Insurance
By booking, you confirm you are physically fit for high-altitude trekking up to 4,167 m and will inform us of any
medical conditions/allergies/dietary needs in advance. Comprehensive travel insurance covering high-altitude
trekking, medical expenses, evacuation/rescue, and trip interruption is strongly recommended (mandatory for
winter ascents).
13) Force MajeureWe are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our control (e.g., extreme weather, natural
disasters, strikes, public authority actions, road closures). In such cases, we will act reasonably to reschedule
or credit/refund where possible.
14) Liability
Trekking in mountainous terrain involves inherent risks (altitude effects, injury, illness, weather). To the
maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to amounts paid to GoToubkal for the affected service.
